MY WEDDING, MY BOUQUET

 A wedding is indeed, one of the most important moments in one's life. Choosing the perfect dress is sometimes like a dream come true, literally, since many women dreamt of wearing one since they were girls. While also taking into consideration the veil, the perfect jewelry, the location, the menu, the cake, etc., a future bride cannot run down the aisle without one important item:
THE WEDDING BOUQUET.

Incorporating flowers into wedding ceremonies has been seen, since Roman times, as a symbol of fertility, which meant that herbs, orange blossoms, garlic and other similar plants never missed from the wedding preparations.

Both Greeks and Romans thought that their smell would keep the evil spirits away from the bride, how funny is that? therefore guaranteeing happiness and loyalty in the marriage. However, the exquisite combination of herbs were not carried by the bride in her hands, but, instead, worn under the form of a garland in her hair. At the end of the ceremony, the edible herbs were given to the newlyweds to eat, as they were also supposed to increase their sexual desire.
But, throughout the Victorian period, the practices changed. Queen Victoria herself carried a bouquet made of a few herbs and mostly fresh flowers, thus

THE LAST SIX THINGS A BRIDE SHOULD DO THE NIGHT BEFORE SHE SAYS “I DO”
1) Round up your day-of essentials in a clutch.
You won't need much on your wedding day, but it's smart to fill a clutch with some "just-in-case" items: a mini deodorant, gum, tissues, and a list of your vendors' phone numbers. If you plan on switching to flip-flops during the reception, toss those in there as well.

2) Pack all your accessories in one bag.
Have everything in one place so you're not scrambling to find an earring or a hairpin the morning of. This includes your jewelry, shoes, undergarments, and hair accessories. Leave your accessories bag next to your wedding dress. {You know where that is, right?! }
3) Hand over your cell phone to your MoH.
Let your MoH screen your calls. She can field questions from your great-aunt who can't find the hotel and the co-worker who wants to know what time the wedding starts. If there are vendor calls that don't require your immediate attention (the caterer wants to know where the table numbers are, the DJ wants to talk to someone at the reception site) ask your mom to deal with them, assuming she's nearby.
